Happy Spring! The season of blooming flowers is finally here and we can put Winter behind us. Are you enjoying the nicer weather?
Now that the snow has melted and the sun is shining, it is a great time to start with roof inspections.
The truth is that there is no one right time to get your roof inspected throughout the year, but certain times are better than others. For example, while you can have inspections done in the Winter, it can be harder to get up onto a roof during snow.
This past Winter, there was hail, heavy winds, and a lot of snow. Any of these can cause lasting damage, and now is the time to check if anything needs to be fixed up.
In the Spring, the snow has just melted, the weather is warm, and it is a perfect time to do inspections for your house. With the bad weather easing away, it is a great time to make sure that there is no damage that has been left behind and that no repairs need to be done. If repairs do need to take place, Spring is a great time to have them done since the weather is so nice!
You will also want to make sure that your gutters are in good shape, and cleared out, and that there are no bent or broken shingles on the roof. With Spring showers on their way, doing an inspection ahead of time can prevent leaks from happening. Your siding should also be checked to ensure proper insulation and protection for your home.
