At CR3 American Exteriors, windows are one of our specialties? Keeping your windows up to date and in good shape prevents air leaks and raises in energy bill prices. There are so many different types and styles of windows to choose from, allowing you to customize your home however you want. If you are considering replacing your windows, or if you think your windows might be in need of a repair, take a look at the styles of windows we offer below to decide which one is best suited for you. Check out the styles we offer below:
Casement- Casement windows have a crank mechanism. Therefore, they act like a door, allowing you to swing them open and shut.
Awning- Awning windows open outward at the bottom and are controlled using a crank, like an old car window.
Sliding- You have probably seen quite a few sliding windows. These slide over one another and are a rather common choice.
Bay- Bay windows are beautiful and are made up of three windows. The center window is surrounded by two angled ones on each side.
Bow- Bow windows are made up of at least four (or more) window units. These windows are slightly curved, making them look amazing.
Double Hung- Double hung windows are made of two movable sashes with one above the other. They are each made to open up, allowing you to decide which one you would like to work with and when. Like sliding windows, this is also a common choice.
