As you now know, we do work in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, North Carolina, and South Carolina. While we took a look at the most popular style and colors of roofs in these areas, we did not touch upon the USA as a whole. Each year, there are overall trends that can be seen throughout America, and this year is no different. In addition, the housing market has been soaring, and with it, many people have been making changes to both new homes and homes that they are selling. On top of this, many are choosing to make changes to their existing home to invest in what they already have, raising the value of their homes in the long run.
So, what are the current roofing trends in the USA? If you want to know what the most popular roofing colors in America have been so far in 2022, take a look at the following list:
- Brown- Both dark and light browns have been incredibly popular this year. Browns can offer a wood-like look and are always in style.
- Blue- Blue roofs have actually been very popular this year. Blue colors can make your roof pop and stand out. If you are looking for some more color, give blue roofs a try!
- Green- Similarly to blue, green is a great way to add a bit of color to your roof. The difference is, green can look a bit more natural, mimicking trees and grass, and altogether blending right in with nature.
- Black- You can never go wrong with a black roof. Black is always in style and shows up as a popular choice year after year. Are you looking for something timeless? Black is the way to go!
- Whites and grays- Believe it or not, white roofs are beginning to grow in popularity. Gray roofs are always a great way to go, but you might try to aim a little bit lighter and go more towards an off-white. Get creative. It’s your roof!
