As you now know, at C3 American Exteriors, we serve five different states. These include Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Every state usually has a different preference for their types and styles of siding. Each area has specific tastes and popular choices. So far, we have gone over siding preferences in Pennsylvania and the Eastern Shore (including the beaches of Delaware). We have found that North Carolina and South Carolina have mostly the same popular siding choices. In this blog, we will go over the most popular siding choices in the Carolinas.
In our experience, when working with siding in the Carolinas, most people prefer Vinyl Cedar Impressions. Cedar shake impression siding has been becoming more and more popular in general. For those who love the look of cedar shakes, but don’t want to spend the money on them, the option of cedar impressions is a great way to have the look without the price. We are able to offer these impressions but made from vinyl material. Vinyl siding is strong and made of a solid rigid foam that prevents warping. It is also insulated, protecting the house from the elements, and preventing high energy costs.
When it comes to siding color preferences in the Carolinas, we have found that these vary quite a bit. Unlike some of the other areas we have mentioned, the Carolinas have many different popular siding colors depending on the area. This allows for lots of creativity and personal preference.
If you live in North Carolina or South Carolina and are interested in replacing or updating your siding, we are happy to help. We have lots of experience working in the Carolinas and can guide you in the right direction. As always, give us a call with any questions you might have so we can get them answered for you.
